I've offered a banana to Lucy off and on for the past 4 months and she hasn't eaten one.  She ate one and a half and in 5 minutes and insisted she hold the banana!

During the Packer game something bad happened and I said "ughhhh."  Lucy immediately  turned around and said "Oh shoot."  Good thing we have cleaned up our language in our house!

Lucy Feeds Sully, Repeatedly

Lucy kept taking Sully's food out of the bowl and into the dog food scoop. Then dumping that back into the bowl. She did this over and over for about 5 minutes. We don't usually encourage this kind of behavior but Sully was a good sport and Mom and Dad were busy talking about important things.

A Leprechaun

Lucy has been in a pretty shy stage. She became very extroverted at Irishfest. The Walshes were there and she spent time with each one. Then she spotted this leprechaun.  I thought she'd get scared, but rather she wouldn't leave it alone!

Lucy Meets a Friend

Lucy is very shy around most people. Today at UWL she went right up to this landscaper.  Lucy showed her some stacking blocks,  talked about colors, and then the landscaper showed Lucy her leaf blower.  Lucy was a little apprehensive about the big loud machine, but then she was all about using it.

Daddy Day Off

I had to jump at an offer to fly over to the EAA Airshow with friend Matt Brantner. Highlights including seeing some sweet planes and Harrison Ford. On the way home home I got to drive a bit. The pilot (Matt ' s brother-in-law) also showed us what his Stinson can do, with some hard banks over 90 degrees. He said it can do barrell rolls. I politely asked him not to and threatened vomit if he did.

Lunch with the Uncles

Lucy enjoyed lunch with Grandpa, Great Uncle Allen and Great Uncle Don. Lucy was pretty shy until the cookies came out, and then she was asking to join the table.
